On Site Packaging

Brent's mobile pack crews will provide our services at your location, eliminating the need to move your product to our facility for crating & packaging.

We have the flexibility and expertise to establish a mobile crating operation at your facility, including all necessary machinery and portable compressors as well as on-site project management and reporting. Brent is also able to accommodate long term on-site projects that necessitate extended stays outside of the GTA.

Brent is well experienced packing on site, such as company re-locations, company shut-downs and even disassembling plants like Petro Canada. With appropriate planning Brent is capable of packaging any type of machinery or products available. Packaging on site is designed to save the customer money, time and freight cost and any additional unexpected expenses.

When planning for on-site packaging there are a number of safety concerns in which Brent has to comply with the client company policy and health and safety act. Training is sometimes required and the use of equipment can be limited depends if the customer is unionized.

Ultimately the client dictates how goods are packaged on site and customers tend to inspect their own goods before packaging commences. The final product is looked at once completed by the customer or the buyer for approval. Brent does have procedures in place to ensure double-work is not involved. Some of the liabilities involved with packaging on site can be that problems that can occur during on site packaging are waiting for final decisions, instructions and inspectors that need to Quality Assurance. This creates down time, jeopardizes the overall project deadline.

Brent employees are trained and educated to the fullest extent when it comes to health and safety. Workers have taken courses in due negligence, preventative actions, safety awareness programs, WHIMIS, First Aid, and handling and operating industrial equipments off and on site.
